Job Title: Sales Representative

Founded in 2016, Unity Brewing Co is a small independent brewery in Southampton brewing modern craft beer for local, national, and European markets. As part of our recent expansion to a larger facility and an increase in our capacity, we are looking for an enthusiastic, friendly, self-motivated, and driven Sales Representative to join our friendly team.

Reporting to our Operations Manager your key responsibilities will be:

  • Maximising sales through generating new leads and establishing new accounts
  • Maintaining and building on relationships with existing customers, in person, over the phone and via email / social media
  • Identifying and developing prospective on-trade and off-trade sales in the UK
  • Weekly reporting to senior management to plan sales strategies
  • Representing the brewery at events and festivals
  • Working at least one shift a week at our on-site Taproom and Bottleshop
  • Occasional brewery support tasks such as assisting with canning runs (full training given)


  • At least 2 years experience in a sales or customer service orientated role (does not necessarily have to be in craft beer)
  • A passion and interest in craft beer 
  • Devotion to customer satisfaction and ability to work to own initiative
  • Own transport and a clean driving license
  • Competency in Microsoft Office applications 
  • Willing to work flexible hours to meet customer requirements, including occasional weekends
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills


  • Basic salary of £24k per annum (40 hour week)
  • Quarterly bonus upon meeting financial targets
  • All field visits and other work related travel and fuel costs paid by company
  • Weekly company lunch
  • Monthly beer allowance

The start date of the role is February 2021, although we will be flexible for the right person.
